InteleTravel introduces rewards scheme for agents

A new loyalty scheme for InteleTravel homeworkers will reward them with luxury goods, electronics and holidays.

IntelePerks has been designed to recognise and reward loyalty and stimulate sales among more than 18,000 agents in the UK and Ireland.

The initiative will see advisors earn points to be redeemed against rewards for a range of activities including completion of training modules, attending industry events, participating in surveys and supporting preferred partners.

Rewards cover more than 1,000 goods such as jewellery, luggage, handbags, sports equipment, home decor, kitchenware, sound systems and electrical goods from top brands including Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Sony.

Travel options include stays at all-inclusive resorts, hotel nights, ocean and river cruises, wine and culinary tours, and spa retreats.

IntelePerks is set to further improve sales and productivity as advisors are incentivised to carry out activities that will hone their knowledge and improve sales skills, according to the company.

Details are being finalised for the scheme but it will be introduced in phases as the technology progresses.

The disclosure came after a record start to the year with sales in March claimed to be up 42% compared with the same month last year.

InteleTravel UK and Ireland managing director Tricia Handley-Hughes said: “IntelePerks is a new way to reward advisors. But it goes further than recognition and reward; it allows us to drive behaviour from making internal process changes to improving sales for selected preferred partners.

“We’ve taken the loyalty and incentive idea from airlines, hotels and other suppliers and used it for the first time within an agency operation.

“Commissions come first, then jewellery, electronics, fashion, cruises, hotel stays and similar redemption opportunities.”
