Super Break has introduced Explore by Rail holidays in a redesigned UK short breaks brochure.
The Explore by Rail breaks offer three- and four-star hotels within a mile of a train station, and destinations included the Scottish Highlands; Devon and Cornwall; and London-based trips to explore the River Thames and the Cotswolds.
The programme has more than 575 hotels, of which 90 are new to the short-break operator, and puts a greater focus on packaged breaks and experiences.
A key component of the new look is the use of brackets to symbolise the elements that build a personalised trip, including (destination + hotel + travel + tours and experiences).
The aim is to make it easier for agents to highlight products which are pre-bookable and commissionable, and can be added to the holiday.
Graham Balmforth, national sales manager at Super Break, said: “The new look and feel is a natural progression for Super Break, taking us into the next phase of our growth. Super Break’s product has developed so much over the last few years and now over 50% of all our short breaks sold include two or more add-on elements/experiences.”
Events and attractions in the programme includin: a new ‘Restoring Windsor Castle (after the fire)’ private tour; ‘Diana Her Fashion Story at Kensington Palace’ exhibition; new Drayton Manor Theme Park breaks; a wider selection of Murder Mystery Breaks; and a new Downton Abbey guided tour at Highclere Castle.
Super Break will also launch its biggest ever TV campaign later this summer.
